Profile
David E. Goodrich, EdD, MS, is a CHERP Core Investigator and Implementation Scientist. At the University of Pittsburgh, he is part of the Dissemination and Implementation Science Collaborative where he co-leads the De-implementation and De-intensification (DI2) Working Group. He is also Co-Director and course instructor for the implementation science track courses for clinicians pursuing advanced degrees within the Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE). Dr. Goodrich joined CHERP in 2021 from the VA Center for Evaluation and Implementation Research (CEIR) at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System in Michigan.
Dr. Goodrich's expertise is in health psychology, health services research, implementation science, public health, and program evaluation that reflect experience working in clinical and community settings. As an expert in implementation science, Dr. Goodrich collaborates with CHERP's research investigators and operational partners to adopt, scale-up, and sustain evidence-based practices in patient care, aligning with the priorities of VA and with Veterans who use VA care.
