Xinhua Zhao, PhD, is a CHERP Core Investigator and Statistician.
Dr. Zhao has extensive experience using and analyzing large-scale data from VA and Medicare in a variety of health services research projects focused on assessing and improving quality of patient care in VA. She works in collaboration with CHERP Investigators on the broad areas of quality and safety of medication use, including evidence-based care for complex high-risk patients, impact of dual use of VA and Medicare benefits, quality of care for old nursing home patients, etc. Dr Zhao is well-versed in a wide range of standard and advanced biostatistics techniques routinely utilized within health services and outcomes research.
