Profile

John Cashy is a statistician and programmer for the VA Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP) in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. He has extensive experience in VA clinical and administrative databases and reporting tools.

At CHERP he works with investigators on research projects focused on understanding and improving the quality and equity of health and health care of Veterans. He also works with the Veteran Experience Center in Philadelphia on studies that contribute to improved outcomes Veterans near the end of life and their families, and assists the VA Informatics and Computing Infrastructure (VINCI) with geographic and social determinants of health data.
